What You'll Need

  • A bowl

  • Salt or baking soda
  • Toothbrush

Step One: Make a Cleaning Solution

Add equal parts salt or baking soda and rubbing alcohol together in a bowl. Mix until the salt or baking soda is dissolved.

Step Two: Apply Mixture to Stain

Take toothbrush and dip it into the cleaning solution. Gently scrub the stained area with the toothbrush. Be careful not to scrub too hard as this may damage fabric.

Step Three: Rinse and Dry

Rinse the belt with cold water and gently pat dry with a paper towel or cloth. Try not to rub the belt too much as this can weaken the fabric.
