Step 1: Check the Label

Before proceeding, always check the manufacturer's instructions on your apron. Check for any special instructions related to cleaning or care. Follow these instructions carefully to avoid damaging the fabric.

Step 2: Blot the Stain

Using a clean cloth, blot the stained area gently. Make sure to blot and not rub, as this can spread the stain further.

Step 3: Apply Stain Remover

Apply a pre-treatment stain remover directly onto the stained area of the apron. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off.

Step 4: Wash Apron

Wash the apron by hand or in the machine depending on the fabric care instructions. Use the correct temperature setting for washing and a mild detergent.

Step 5: Start Scrubbing

If the stain is still there after washing, take a soft brush or toothbrush and start scrubbing gently at the stained area. This will help break down stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 6: Apply White Vinegar

Apply white vinegar directly onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. This will help to break down the ink particles and make them easier to remove.

Step 7: Rinse with Cold Water

Rinse the apron with cold water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly to get rid of all traces of the vinegar.

Step 8: Air-Dry

After rinsing, let the apron air-dry. Do not put it into the dryer, as this may set the stain.
