Angora is a natural fiber originating from undercoat of angora rabbits. It's a luxurious fiber that's smooth, lightweight and inherently semi-woolen. Unfortunately, its properties also make it prone to staining, particularly from ink.
The first step to get an ink stain out of angora is to carefully blot the stain with a dry cloth or paper towel. Be sure to use a blotting motion rather than rubbing the fabric and spreading the stain. You may want to try lifting the stain by pressing and lifting with the cloth or paper towel.
Once the excess ink has been blotted, fill a bowl with a mixture of one part white vinegar and three parts lukewarm water. Submerge the stain in the mixture and let it soak for 30 minutes. Add more water if needed to keep the stain submerged.
Once the stain has been soaking, rinse it off with lukewarm water and then air dry. Do not wring the fabric, as this may weaken the fibers and lead to further damage.
Once the garment is completely dry, gently launder it according to the instructions on the label. This should help remove any residual stain and restore original color of the fabric.
