Accidental ink stains on your Adidas gear have the potential to be a real eyesore. But with right cleaning solution, you can get your apparel looking as good as new. Here’s what you need to do.
The first thing to try when dealing with ink stains is a non-acetone nail polish remover. All you need to do is place a small amount of nail polish remover directly on stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. After a few minutes, use a damp cloth to wipe off the remover from both sides of the fabric.
If nail polish remover method does not work or you do not have any remover on hand, then you can try dabbing the stain with a clean cloth. Use a white cloth or paper towel to soak up any excess ink that may still be on the fabric. Continue to dab until the stain is no longer visible.
If above two methods still don’t work, then you’ll need to resort to a stain removing product. Place a small amount of the product on the stain and allow it to penetrate for a few minutes. Once the product has been rinsed off, you should be able to see the stain begin to fade away.
If you’re still struggling to remove the ink stain, then it’s time to turn to laundry detergent and baking soda. Mix one part of laundry detergent with one part of baking soda and apply it to the stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.
Ink stains can be a real hassle to deal with, but with the right cleaning solutions, you can make your Adidas gear look like new. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different cleaning solutions - try out above methods and see which one works best for your needs.
