How to Remove Hairspray Stains from Your Watch Easily

Things You Will Need

  • Cotton swabs
  • Dish soap
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Soft cloth

Step 1: Soak the Watch in Soapy Water

Fill a small bowl with warm water and add 1-2 drops of mild dish soap. Place the watch face-down in the soapy water, and let it soak for 10 minutes.

Step 2: Wipe Away Any Remaining Residue

Using a cotton swab, gently wipe away any hairspray residue still remaining on watch. Take care not to scratch the watch.

Step 3: Clean the Watch with Rubbing Alcohol

Dampen a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and carefully rub over any remaining stains. If you don't have rubbing alcohol, you can substitute white vinegar.

Step 4: Dry the Watch with a Soft Cloth

Using a soft cloth, dry the watch thoroughly without rubbing too hard. Make sure the watch is completely dried before putting it back onto your wrist.
