Hairspray is a useful product for styling and holding hair in place, but it can also leave a residue on surfaces and items that come into contact with it. If you’re wearing a watch while using hairspray, it can be easy to get some of the hairspray on watch, leaving a sticky and difficult to remove residue.

Fortunately, there are a few solutions you can try to get rid of hairspray stains from your watch.

Option 1: Soap and Water

The safest and most basic way to remove hairspray from a watch is to use soap and water. Put a small amount of liquid soap on a soft cloth and dampen it with a bit of warm water. Gently rub the cloth over area of the watch that is stained with hairspray and rinse away the soap with a damp cloth. Repeat this process until the watch is clean.

Option 2: Lemon Juice and Baking Soda

If soap and water doesn’t seem to be doing the trick, you can try using lemon juice and baking soda. Mix equal parts of lemon juice and baking soda to form a paste. Apply this paste to the stained area of the watch and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.

Option 3: Rubbing Alcohol

Another option for removing hairspray from a watch is to use rubbing alcohol. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto a cotton swab or soft cloth and gently rub it over the stained area of the watch. Be sure to wipe away any excess and rinse the watch with a damp cloth when done.

Whatever method you choose, make sure to test it on a small inconspicuous area first to make sure the watch won’t be damaged in any way.
