Step 1: Begin by pre-treating the stain with a mild detergent, such as laundry soap. Don’t rub it in; simply allow the detergent to sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2: Soak the garment in warm water with laundry detergent for an hour or two.
Step 3: Afterwards, rinse garment in warm water and remove any excess detergent.
Step 4: Place the garment onto a towel or cloth and blot dry with another towel or cloth.
Step 5: Once the garment is dry, check the stain to see if it has been removed. If there’s still a spot left, repeat the steps above.
Tip 1: Place the tracksuit in a garment bag before using hairspray to ensure the hairspray doesn’t come into contact with fabric.
Tip 2: When applying hairspray, keep it a few inches away from fabric so that the overspray doesn’t land on the tracksuit.
Tip 3: To avoid staining the tracksuit, try to use more natural hair care products that don’t contain harsh chemicals.
