Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step when removing a hairspray stain from a toy is to blot the area with a damp cloth or paper towel. This will help to remove any excess hairspray without smearing it further into the fabric or plastic.

Step 2: Use a Cleaning Solution

Once you have blotted stained area, use a mild detergent mixed with warm water to gently scrub the area. You can also use a mild stain remover if necessary. If you do choose to use a stain remover, be sure to test it on an inconspicuous area first, as some may cause discoloration.

Step 3: Rinse the Area

Once you have finished cleaning the stained area, rinse it off with cold water. Be sure to remove all of the cleaning solution and blot away any excess moisture.

Step 4: Allow to Air-Dry

To prevent the stain from setting, allow the area to air-dry. Once the toy is dry, inspect the area to make sure that the stain has been removed.
