Method 1: Rubbing Alcohol and Soap

In a small bowl, mix together equal parts rubbing alcohol and mild laundry detergent. Dip a cloth into the mixture and gently blot the stain. Do not rub fabric, as this may cause damage. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat the process if needed.

Method 2: White Vinegar and Water

Mix together equal parts white vinegar and water in a small bowl. Dip a clean cloth into mixture and gently blot stain. Allow the vinegar and water solution to sit on the stain for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat the process if needed.

Method 3: Dish Soap and Water

Mix together equal parts dish soap and water in a small bowl. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and gently blot the stain. Allow the dish soap and water solution to sit on the stain for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat the process if needed.

Additional Tips

  • Always test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the fabric to make sure it does not cause any discoloration or damage.
  • Be sure to rinse the affected area with cold water after cleaning to ensure all the residue is removed.
  • If the stain is still present after trying one of methods above, try using hydrogen peroxide or a commercial stain remover.
