Using a hairspray on Tencel fabric can quickly lead to a sticky residue that's difficult to remove. Luckily, there are some simple steps you can take to eliminate the stain without damaging the material. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Soak up as much of hairspray as possible using paper towels or a dry cloth. Make sure to avoid rubbing the stain, as this can cause it to spread further.
  2. Create a cleaning solution by mixing equal parts warm water and white vinegar. Alternatively, you can use a non-bleach laundry detergent.
  3. Apply the solution to the stained area and let it sit for several minutes. If necessary, you can gently scrub the fabric to help lift the stain.
  4. Finally, rinse the affected area with cold water and allow the fabric to air dry.

After following these steps, your garment should be free of hairspray stains. If the stain persists, you may need to use a stronger cleaning solution. Try mixing 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water and apply it to the affected area. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.

With a few simple steps, you can easily remove hairspray stains from Tencel fabric. Just remember to never rub the stain and always work from the outside in to prevent it from spreading. If you follow these tips, your clothes should stay looking and smelling fresh!
