Eliminate Hair Spray Stains from Your Tank Top Quickly and Easily

Summer is here, and tank tops are a must-have wardrobe item. Unfortunately, when we spritz our hair with hairspray, it can sometimes end up on our favorite tanks! But never fear - there's a simple way to get rid of those nasty hairspray stains so you don't have to worry about ruining your clothes.
What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Borax
- Dish soap
- Toothbrush
Step 1: Soak the Tank Top
Fill a sink or basin with hot water and add a cup of white vinegar to the mix. Soak the tank top for an hour or two so the vinegar can break down the hairspray stains.
Step 2: Create a Cleaning Mixture
In a small bowl, mix together one tablespoon of Borax, one teaspoon of dish soap, and two cups of hot water. Stir until the mixture is even.
Step 3: Scrub the Stains Away
Rinse the tank top and then use a toothbrush to scrub the stained area with the mixture you just made. The hairspray should start to come off pretty quickly, so keep scrubbing until it's all gone.
Step 4: Rinse and Dry
Rinse away any remaining cleaning mixture and then air dry the shirt or use the lowest heat setting on your dryer.
