What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Dish soap
- A sponge or soft cloth
- A clean, dry towel
- Fabric stain remover (optional)
Instructions
- Blot the stained area with a clean, damp cloth.
- Mix 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts warm water and apply the mixture to the stain with a damp cloth.
- Let the solution sit for 5 minutes.
- Gently rub the stained area with a sponge using a small amount of dish soap.
- Rinse area thoroughly with warm water.
- If stain persists, apply a fabric stain remover to the area and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the area with warm water and then blot it dry with a clean, dry towel.
