What You Will Need
- Warm water
- Mild detergent
- Stain remover (optional)
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Soft cloth
- Clean towel
Instructions for Removing the Stain
- Mix together one quart of warm water, one teaspoon of mild detergent, and one tablespoon of white vinegar.
- Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and gently rub the stained area.
- Allow the solution to soak into the fabric for 10 minutes.
- If the stain is stubborn, apply a stain remover to area and allow it to work for 5 minutes.
- Rinse out the mixture with warm water.
- Mix together a paste of baking soda and water and rub it into the stained area.
- Gently scrub the paste into the fabric using a soft cloth.
- Rinse the paste away with warm water and blot the area with a clean towel to dry.
