Instructions
- Start by blotting the stained area with a damp cloth to soak up as much of the hairspray as possible.
- Mix a solution of gentle detergent and cold water. Make sure to use a mild detergent that won't damage the fabric.
- Using a clean cloth, apply the detergent solution to the stained area, making sure not to rub stain further into fabric.
- Allow the cleanser to sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse the stained area with cold water to remove the cleaner and any remaining hairspray residue.
- If stain is still present, mix a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts water and apply it to stained area. Allow the vinegar solution to sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water, then lay the clothing flat to air dry.
- If the stain persists, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol and rinse. Launder the clothing as usual.
