How to Rescue Your Leggings From Hairspray Stains

What You’ll Need
- White vinegar
- Dishwashing liquid
- Laundry detergent
- Old toothbrush or soft-bristled brush
- A clean white cloth
Instructions
- Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and dishwashing liquid, and pour it into a spray bottle.
- Spray the hairspray-stained areas of the leggings until they are completely saturated.
- Gently scrub the stained area with a soft-bristled brush.
- Rinse the leggings in warm water.
- If any of the stain remains, apply a laundry detergent directly to the area and let it sit for a few minutes. Scrub it gently with a soft-bristled brush.
- Rinse with warm water again and check for any remaining stains.
- If there are still faint traces of hairspray, rub a white cloth lightly over the stain and rinse with warm water. This should remove any last traces of stain.
- Allow leggings to air dry.
