Lacoste clothes are well-loved for their timeless style and high quality materials. Unfortunately, accidents can happen and a stray spray of hairspray can mar the look of an item or cause it damage if not dealt with correctly. The good news is that hairspray stains don't have to be permanent. With the right cleaning techniques, you can get rid of them and keep your Lacoste clothing looking fresh.

Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step in cleaning hairspray stains from your Lacoste clothing is to blot the area with warm water. Dip a clean cloth into some warm water and then gently dab the stained area, working from the outside edge of the stain towards the center. This will help to lift the hairspray from the fabric without spreading it further.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

The second step is to apply some detergent to the stained area. Use a mild laundry detergent and mix it with warm water. Then, using a clean cloth, rub the detergent into the stained area, working from the outside of the stain towards center, just like you did with the warm water. Let the detergent work for a few minutes, then rinse it away with cool water.

Step 3: Spot Treat

The last step is to spot treat the stain. To do this, mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid with warm water, and then apply the solution to the stained area. Then, wipe away the solution with a clean cloth. Finally, rinse the area with cool water and check to see if the stain has been removed.

If the stain has not been completely removed, you may need to repeat these steps or take your clothing to a professional cleaner.
