What You'll Need

  • Soft cloth
  • Laundry detergent
  • Olive oil
  • White vinegar

Directions

  1. As soon as you notice stain, blot the area with a dry, soft cloth until garment is slightly damp but not wet.
  2. Mix together laundry detergent and warm water in a bowl. Dip cloth into the mixture and blot the stain with the soapy solution.
  3. If the stain does not come out, try using olive oil. Place a small amount of oil on the cloth, and blot the stain.
  4. If stain still does not come off, try white vinegar. Place a small amount of vinegar on the cloth and continue to blot the stain until stain fades away completely.

Tips

  • Always test fabrics in an inconspicuous spot to make sure solution will not damage the fabric.
  • For greater success, do not let stain set for too long before attempting to remove it.
  • Be sure to let the item air dry after treating the stain.
