Sometimes when you style your hair with hairspray, it can leave a sticky residue on your hair ties. This can be a hassle, as regular laundering or cleaning products don’t work too well. But don’t despair – here are a few tips to help remove hairspray from hair ties:

Step 1: Combine Dish Soap & Hot Water

Create a cleaning solution by combining a few drops of dish soap and hot water in a bowl and mix together. Then, submerge the hair tie in the soapy mixture for several minutes and let it sit.

Step 2: Rub Stain

Once the hair tie has been soaked for a few minutes, take it out of the soapy solution and rub the stains with a soft, damp cloth. Move the cloth in circular motions to really work the fabric and get rid of any residue.

Step 3: Rinse & Dry

Rinse the cloth and the hair tie under running water. Once hair tie is rinsed, pat it dry with a soft towel. Repeat these steps as needed until all of the hairspray residue is gone.

Voila! You should now have a clean and stain-free hair tie. Keep your hair ties looking great by following these simple steps and you'll never have to worry about pesky hairspray stains again!
