Things You'll Need:

  • A cloth
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Dish soap
  • Baking soda

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Start by wiping down affected area with the cloth. The cloth should be damp with only water – don’t apply any cleaning agents yet.
  2. Once you’ve wiped the area with the cloth, pour some rubbing alcohol onto the cloth and dab the affected area.
  3. Next, mix some dish soap and baking soda together to create a paste and apply it onto the affected areas.
  4. Once you’ve applied the paste, gently rub in a circular motion for about 30 seconds.
  5. Finally, rinse away the soap and baking soda with cold water and let the flip flops air-dry.

Additional Tips:

  • It’s important to act fast when attempting to remove hairspray from your flip flops, as the longer you leave it, the harder it is to get rid of.
  • If the stain persists, try repeating steps above or use a chemical cleaner. Make sure to read the instructions carefully before using.
