Take a piece of clean cloth and dip it in warm water. Blot the stain by pressing cloth onto it gently. Do not rub the fabric, as this may cause damage and make the stain worse.
Mix a few drops of liquid detergent with warm water. Dip cloth in the mixture and apply it to the stain. Leave it for a few minutes to allow the soap to work on the stain.
Gently wash fabric in tepid water and a mild detergent. Make sure that the detergent is suitable for delicate fabrics. After washing, rinse the fabric with plenty of cold water.
Allow the fabric to air dry or use a hairdryer on the low heat setting. When the fabric is completely dry, brush it with a soft-bristled brush to give it a polished look.
Once the fabric is dry, check to see if the stain has been removed. If the stain is still visible, repeat the steps until it is completely gone.
