It is important to immediately blot the stain when you notice it. Do not rub or brush the stained area; instead, use a clean cloth and dab the stain.
Mix one part water with one part white vinegar and create a solution. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and apply to the stained area. Let the solution sit on stain for 10 minutes before blotting the area.
Next, put the fabric in the washing machine with warm water and a gentle detergent. Wash the fabric on a normal wash cycle and do not add fabric softener as this could cause the stain to reappear.
After washing, check the area to see if the stain has been removed. If not, repeat the process until the stain is gone.
Once you are happy with result of the stain, hang dry the fabric. Do not put the denim in dryer as this could cause stain to set in permanently.
Hairspray stains can be annoying and difficult to remove, but by following the instructions above, you can easily get rid of stain and have your jeans looking as good as new. Just remember to act quickly once you notice the stain and avoid putting the denim in the dryer.
