Removing Stain

First, dab the stained area with warm water. If that doesn't do the trick, you can use a few household items to help remove the stain. One method is to apply a paste made out of baking soda and water. Let it set for 10 minutes before scrubbing the paste gently into the stain with a soft brush. You can also dab stain with white vinegar or rubbing alcohol. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with warm water and lay it flat to dry.

Preventative Measures

To prevent hairspray stains in the first place, you should keep your lace away from direct sources of heat and humidity, such as hair dryers, curling irons, and steamers. Additionally, you should never spray hairspray directly onto your lace as this will cause unsightly stains. When it comes time to style your hair, spray hairspray onto your brush instead to avoid getting your Cornelli lace stained.

Caring for Lace

In general, it is important to take good care of your lace to keep it looking fresh. Keep it away from sharp objects, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. You should also always make sure to handwash your lace with a mild detergent and hang it to dry. Using these techniques, your lace should stay looking beautiful for years to come.
