First, you’ll need to gently scrape off any hardened hairspray residue from the fabric with a soft brush. Make sure to be gentle and scrape in one direction only. Next, mix a solution of half cup of warm water, half cup of white vinegar, and two tablespoons of liquid dish soap. Use a soft cloth to dab the stain with solution and let it sit for ten minutes. Lastly, blot the area dry with a cloth and repeat until stain has completely disappeared.

When removing hairspray stains from brocade, make sure to never use hot water as this can damage the delicate fabric of the fabric. Additionally, spot test the cleaning solution on a discreet area of the brocade to ensure it won’t cause any discoloration.

By following these simple steps, you can easily remove stubborn hairspray stains from brocade. Just remember to be gentle and don’t use too much strength when scraping off the hardened hairspray residue.
