Stain remover or enzyme pre-soak
Soft cloth
A bucket or sink filled with lukewarm water

Once you have gathered all the necessary items, follow the steps below:

Blot the stain with a soft cloth, in order to remove and excess hairspray that may remain on the surface.
Mix a solution of warm water, mild detergent, and stain remover and soak affected area of A-line dress for about 15 minutes.
Use a soft brush to gently rub stained area, in order to loosen the hairspray residue.
Rinse the dress and run a gentle cycle in the washing machine, using cold water and a mild detergent.
Air-dry the dress and inspect the remaining stain. If stain persists, repeat steps 1-4.
