To clean hairspray from Adidas items, you’ll need: an old toothbrush, laundry detergent, rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, baking soda, and a dry cloth.
Start by pre-treating the stain with laundry detergent. Rub the stain with gentle circular motions using an old toothbrush. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing the spot with cold water.
Mix one part rubbing alcohol and one part white vinegar in a bowl. Dab the mixture onto the stain with a dry cloth and allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse the spot with cold water.
Mix equal parts baking soda and cold water to create a paste. Use the paste to rub the stain gently before rinsing it with cold water. Repeat this step until the stain is completely gone. Allow your Adidas item to air dry.
Removing hair spray stains from Adidas shoes or clothing can be tough, but with these simple steps you can have your goods looking good as new in no time. Just be sure to always use cold water and never put your Adidas item in the dryer.
