When cleaning a greasy or oily stain from your favorite Zara clothes, always spot test cleaning method on an inconspicuous area first. This will help ensure any potential damage is minimized.

Step 1: Scrape Away Excess Grease/Oil

Using a dull butter knife, carefully scrape away as much of the grease or oil as possible. Be sure to go slowly, being careful not to rub the stain into the fabric.

Step 2: Place the Stain Between Paper Towels

Place a couple paper towels between the stain and the garment. You can use either white or colored paper towels depending on what color the fabric is. Using a butter knife or a spoon, press down firmly on the paper towels to help absorb excess grease or oil.

Step 3: Apply Dry-Cleaning Solvent

Using a cotton swab, apply a dry-cleaning solvent such as Carbona, K2R Spot Lifter or Afta Cleaning Fluid to stained area. Be sure to follow the instructions on the package for best results.

Step 4: Blot the Stain with a Dry Cloth

Once the dry-cleaning solvent has been applied, blot the stain with a dry cloth to help remove the stain. Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

Step 5: Wash as Usual

If the stain is still visible after the dry-cleaning solvent has been applied and blotted, it's time to wash the garment as usual. Take care to follow the care label's instructions when washing Zara clothes.

Conclusion

Grease and oil stains can be a challenge to remove, but with the right cleaning methods and products, they can be erased from your favorite Zara clothes. Following the five steps above will help ensure your clothes stay looking great.
