Pre-Treat the Stains

To begin, use a pre-treatment spray or soak yoga pants in a mixture of laundry detergent and warm water. Allow the garment to soak for 15 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Clean and Remove the Stain

Machine wash the pants using cold water and your usual laundry detergent. Add a little extra detergent if necessary. Then, use a brush or an old toothbrush to scrub the stained areas until grease and oil are gone.

Air-Dry the Pants

After the stain is removed, air-dry the pants. Avoid using a dryer as the heat could set stains. Instead, line-dry pants in a well-ventilated area and out of direct sunlight.

Repeat As Needed

If the stains persist, repeat all of the above steps, paying special attention to the pre-soak stage. Failing that, try adding a cup of white vinegar to washing machine before starting the cycle.
