Step 1: Make a Cleaning Solution

Mix one-quarter cup of dish soap with two cups of warm water in a bowl.

Step 2: Soak the Stain

Liberally soak a soft cloth in the solution and then squeeze out the excess liquid.

Step 3: Rub the Stain

Gently rub the stain until it begins to fade away. If necessary, add more of the cleaning solution as you go.

Step 4: Rinse the Glass

Remove the cleaning solution from the window using a wet rag and cool water. Dry the window with a lint-free cloth.

Step 5: Polish the Glass

For a streak-free shine, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to polish the window.
