Steps To Remove Grease and Oil Stains From White Clothing

  1. Remove any excess oil or grease with a spoon before it sets.
  2. Cover the stain with an absorbent paper towel and press with a warm iron to get the grease out.
  3. Pour a small amount of dishwashing liquid directly onto the stain and rub gently.
  4. Rinse the stained area with warm water.
  5. If the stain remains, apply a paste of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar to the stain.
  6. Allow the paste to stand for 10 minutes and then rinse the stained area with warm water.
  7. If the stain still persists, repeat the process until it is gone.
  8. Wash the garment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
