The simplest way to get rid of stubborn oil or grease stains from Versace is to use a commercial stain remover. Make sure to read the instructions carefully and test in an inconspicuous area first. If you’re having trouble removing stain, try using a laundry pre-treatment spray. Apply the pre-treatment liberally over the stain and let it sit for 15-30 minutes before gently rubbing the stain with a soft cloth. Rinse the area well and repeat if necessary.
If you don't have access to commercial stain removers, you can still remove grease and oil stains from Versace fabric successfully. Combine a small amount of dishwashing liquid with warm water and gently rub the solution onto stained area. Once you have spread the mixture evenly, let it sit for about 15 minutes. Wipe away with a cloth, then rinse the area with cold water.
For a natural stain-fighting solution, mix together one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of water. Soak a cloth in the solution and dab it on the stained area. Let it soak for 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water and dry with a towel.
No matter how careful you are, oil and grease stains on Versace fabric are inevitable. But with the right tools and techniques, you can easily clean away most stubborn grease and oil marks.
