Uggs are lovely and comfortable but also quite delicate, so it is important to take good care of them. Grease and oil stains can be particularly challenging to get rid of, but there are some simple steps you can follow to make sure that your Uggs look as good as new.
You will need a clean cloth, a soft-bristled brush, some dishwashing liquid, and a few drops of cold water. Make sure that all of your materials are clean and free from any dirt or debris.
Use the soft-bristled brush to gently brush away any excess dirt or debris from the surface of the Uggs. This will help to loosen grease and oil stains and make them easier to remove.
Take clean cloth and dampen it slightly with cold water. Squeeze some dishwashing liquid onto the cloth and then rub it into the surface of the Uggs in a circular motion. Make sure to cover all of the areas affected by the grease and oil stains.
Once you have applied the dishwashing liquid, use the damp cloth to wipe away the grease and oil stains. Be gentle and make sure not to scrub too hard; you don’t want to damage the delicate nubuck surface of the Uggs.
Once you have removed all of the grease and oil stains, you should allow the Uggs to air dry. Place them in a warm spot, away from direct sunlight, and allow them to dry completely before wearing them again.
Removing grease and oil stains from your Uggs may seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. With the right materials and a bit of elbow grease, you can easily get your Uggs looking like new again.
