Steps To Remove Grease and Oil Stains From Twill
- Start by blotting stain with paper towels.
- Once you have blotted up as much excess oil and grease as possible, apply a pre- treatment stain remover.
- Then, launder the fabric according to the care instructions. Make sure you use an absorbent cloth with the stain remover.
- If the stain is still present after laundering, apply a mixture of equal parts dishwashing soap and hydrogen peroxide to stain.
- Let the solution sit on the stain for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.
- Finally, launder the fabric again.
