Instructions

  1. Start by blotting up as much of the oil or grease as possible with a paper towel.
  2. Mix one teaspoon of liquid dish soap and one tablespoon of white vinegar in two cups of lukewarm water.
  3. Soak a cloth in the mixture, then gently dab it over the stained area. Don't rub, as this could cause the stain to spread.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rinse the affected area with lukewarm water.
  6. If the stain is still present, repeat steps 2-5 as needed until it has been completely removed.
  7. Once the stain has been removed, machine wash the sweatpants as normal.

Tips

  • You may need to repeat the process several times for the stain to completely disappear.
  • Be sure to test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the sweatpants before applying it to the stain.
  • In difficult cases, it may be necessary to use laundry detergent that has been specifically designed to remove grease and oil stains.
