Step 1: Pre-treat Stain

Mix a few drops of liquid dish soap with one quart of warm water in a bowl. Apply soapy mixture directly onto the stained area and let it sit for five minutes. After that, blot the stain with a clean cloth. Don't rub or scrub, as this may weaken the fabric.

Step 2: Wash the Bra in the Machine

Set your washing machine to a cold gentle cycle and select right detergent for the fabric. Add your sports bra and let machine do its job. To make sure all the grease and oil are removed, wash your bra twice. It’s best to skip dryer and opt for air drying.

Step 3: Spot Clean

If there are still residues after the first two rounds of cleaning, spot clean your sports bra by dabbing a cleaning solution onto the stained area. Follow the same procedure as for pre-washing, but add more detergent to the soapy water. Once done, rinse and air dry the sports bra.
