Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first thing you need to do is to blot the stained area with several pieces of paper towel to absorb as much grease and oil as possible. You should not rub or scrub the stained area because that will only spread the stain further and make it much more difficult to remove.

Step 2: Create a Home Remedy Mixture

Mix 1 part dish soap with 3 parts warm water and stir it until it is fully combined. Apply this mixture onto the stained area and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This will help break down the grease and oil and make them easier to remove.

Step 3: Rinse and Repeat

After letting the mixture sit on the stained area, rinse it off with lukewarm water and then repeat steps 1-3 as needed.

Step 4: Wash Your Robe

Machine-wash your robe on the gentle setting and use a mild detergent. Hang your robe up in the sun to dry, as this will help to brighten the fabric and make it look like new.
