Materials You Will Need
- White vinegar
- Old toothbrush
- Damp cloth or sponge
- Baking soda
- Dish detergent (optional)
Steps to Clean Grease and Oil Stains from Reeboks
- Test the white vinegar on a small area of the shoe to make sure it won't discolor the material.
- If the color is not affected, then use the old toothbrush to scrub vinegar onto the stained area.
- Let the vinegar sit for a few minutes.
- Wipe away vinegar using a damp cloth or sponge.
- Mix together a little bit of baking soda and water to make a paste.
- Scrub the paste onto stain with an old toothbrush.
- Let the paste sit for about 5 minutes.
- Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe away paste.
- If the stain persists, add a drop of dish detergent to the baking soda paste.
- Follow steps 6-9 to finish cleaning the stain.
