Steps For Cleaning Grease and Oil Stains
- As soon as you notice the stain, try to blot it with a rag or paper towel. This will soak up excess oil or grease.
- Mix some liquid laundry detergent with warm water and make a paste. Dip affected area of the leggings into the mixture and leave it for about 5 minutes.
- After five minutes, use an old toothbrush to gently clean the affected area. Avoid scrubbing too hard as it can damage fabric.
- Rinse area thoroughly with water.
- Lay the leggings flat and let it air dry.
- If the stain is still visible, mix a solution of equal parts vinegar and water and spray it onto the stain. Let the leggings sit for a couple of minutes and then rinse with water.
