Start by combining dish soap and warm water in a bowl. Depending on the type of fabric, you may choose to add a small amount of vinegar for extra cleaning power. Once your ingredients are mixed, soak a soft sponge or cloth in the solution and wring out any excess liquid.
Gently blot the stain in a circular motion, using the dampened sponge or cloth. This will help to lift the stain without damaging the fabric. Don’t scrub too hard, as this could cause more damage. If needed, you can add a little baking soda to the cloth for extra stain-lifting power.
Finally, rinse the area with warm water and dry it with a soft cloth. Be sure to let the bag air dry completely before using it.
Cleaning grease and oil stains from handbags can be a challenge, but with a few simple steps and the right cleaning supplies, you can make your handbag look good as new again!
