Using a soft cloth and lukewarm water, begin to gently remove any excess oil and grease that has built up on the goggles. Refrain from using any additional cleaning solutions as this could damage the lenses.
Mix together a solution of dish soap and lukewarm water. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and then carefully apply it to the lenses. Use gentle circular motions to work the solution in, then rinse with clean water.
Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, very gently scrub away any remaining oil or grease. Be sure to use a gentle touch, as any vigorous scrubbing could cause scratches to the lenses.
If regular dish soap doesn’t do trick, grab some toothpaste and apply it to the lenses. Use the same light circular motion that you did with the dish soap. Rinse off toothpaste with lukewarm water and check for remaining spots of grease or oil.
If all else fails, take your goggles to a professional. They’ll likely have tools and experience to remove even the most stubborn greasy stains.
