First and foremost, use a white absorbent cloth or paper towels to gently blot the stained area. Be careful not to rub at the stain, as that may cause the fabric to bleed and become damaged.
Next, create a stain-removing solution. Simply combine one teaspoon of biological (color safe) powder laundry detergent with one pint of lukewarm water. Once mixed, dip a soft-bristled brush into the solution, then gently brush the stained area. Make sure to avoid scrubbing the fabric too hard, as this can damage it.
Once the stained area has been brushed with detergent solution, rinse off fabric with cold water. If the stain persists, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is successfully removed.
Finally, lay the fabric on top of a clean towel and gently press down to absorb any excess moisture. Once fabric is mostly dry, iron the section with a low heat setting.
