The Secret to a Sparkling Dashiki: Removing Grease and Oil Stains with Ease

Spend enough time wearing your favorite Dashiki, and it’s almost certain you’ll find yourself face-to-face with grease or oil stains. But don't worry — knowing the right cleaning techniques can remove these stains quickly and effectively. Here’s how to clean grease and oil stains from your Dashiki.

Step 1: Blot the Stain with a Paper Towel

Immediately after discovering a grease or oil stain on your Dashiki, begin by gently blotting the area with a paper towel to absorb as much of it as possible. Make sure to only blot with light pressure — any additional rubbing can spread and worsen the stain.

Step 2: Treat with a Dry Cleaning Product
