Materials Needed for Cleaning Grease and Oil Stains
- Liquid laundry detergent or stain remover
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Warm water
- Soft cloth
- Towel
Steps to Remove Grease and Oil Stains from Your Crop top
- Blot and scrape away any excess oil or grease with a soft cloth. Do not rub the stain, as this may spread it further.
- Create a paste with baking soda and liquid laundry detergent and apply to the stained area. Let the paste sit on the stain for at least 15 minutes.
- Rinse the paste off with warm water.
- Create a mixture of 2 parts warm water and 1 part white vinegar and use a soft cloth to blot the stain. Allow the solution to sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse off the vinegar solution and blot the fabric dry with a towel.
- Repeat steps 3-5 until stain is removed.
Once stain is gone, you can launder crop top as normal.
