Sprinkle talcum powder over the greasy spots on your ballet flats. Let it sit for 30 minutes to absorb the grease. With a soft brush, brush off the powder.
Mix equal parts of talcum powder and white vinegar to make a paste. Spread it over the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Wipe away the paste with a damp cloth.
If the previous steps didn’t work, try this baking soda trick. Mix baking soda and water to form a thick paste. Spread it over stain and let it dry. Brush off any remaining baking soda and wipe with a damp cloth.
Once you’ve removed the grease and oil stains from your ballet flats, protect them with a fabric protector. This will make them more resistant against future stains. Follow instructions on the product for best results.
There you have it - an easy, four-step guide to removing grease and oil stains from your ballet flats. With talcum powder, white vinegar, baking soda, and a fabric protector, you can make your ballet flats look as good as new!
