Grease and oil stains can usually be removed quite easily with a few common household items. All you need is a drop or two of liquid detergent, some white vinegar, a sponge, and water. Try these steps:

  1. Apply a small drop of liquid dish soap directly to the stain.
  2. Allow soap to sit for about fifteen minutes before gently scrubbing it into the fabric.
  3. Mix some white vinegar and a few drops of water in a small bowl. Dip a clean sponge into mix and use it to rub the stain.
  4. Rinse off the cleaning solution with cold water. If a stain remains, repeat this process until it is removed.

It’s important to remember that you should never put your apron in the dryer after spot cleaning. Heat can set stains, so hang apron until it is completely dry.

If you follow these steps, grease and oil stains should come out without much effort. Just make sure to rinse the apron until the soap is completely gone.
