Getting rid of Gravy Stains on Your Favorite Wrap Dress

1. Blot the Stain

2. Apply Detergent
After you have blotted the stain, you can apply a gentle detergent such as Woolite or laundry detergent. Be sure to test the detergent on an inconspicuous area of the dress first to make sure it does not cause any discoloration or damage. Once you know it's safe, apply a small amount of detergent onto stain and let it sit for about ten minutes.
3. Rinse and Repeat
Once the detergent has had time to work, rinse the stain with cold water. If stain has not completely disappeared, repeat the process until it does. If stain is still visible after the second attempt, then you may need to take the dress to a dry cleaner.
4. Dry Clean
If the stain remains after trying the above steps, then you should take the dress to a dry cleaner as soon as possible. Professional dry cleaners have special detergents and equipment designed to remove even the toughest stains, so they may be able to help you save your wrap dress.
