The first thing you should do is wipe away as much of the gravy off the windows with the help of a paper towel as possible. If the window is at a hard-to-reach place, use a pair of tongs or tweezers to grab the paper towel and remove as much of the stain as possible.
The next step is to mix 1 part water and 1 part detergent in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into solution and wring out any excess liquid. Rub the stained area gently with the cloth. After this, rinse with plain water, using another clean cloth.
If the stain still persists, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of lukewarm water. Apply this solution onto the stained area and scrub gently with a soft sponge or cloth. Rinse with plain water after scrubbing and wipe the area dry with a clean cloth.
In case stain is still visible, try using an effective glass cleaner. Spray it onto the stained area of the window and use a newspaper or paper towel to rub it off. Make sure not to rub too hard, as this may cause streaks and smears.
Finally, for tougher stains, you can opt for a commercial window cleaner. Follow the directions given on the back of the package and clean windows thoroughly.
