As soon as the gravy stain lands on your wallpaper, take a soft cloth and blot the spot gently. This will help to soak up the excess liquid, reducing the likelihood of it spreading further.
Mix a few drops of mild soap with lukewarm water in a bowl or sink. Then, dip your cloth in mixture and wring out the excess liquid.
Gently rub the soapy cloth over the gravy stain, taking care not to scrub too hard. This will help to break up the spot and remove it from the wallpaper. Keep blotting and re-dipping your cloth until spot is gone.
If stain remains, mix equal parts vinegar and cornstarch in a bowl. Then, spread the mixture gently over the stain and let it sit for 10–15 minutes. This will help to absorb any remaining grease.
After the mixture has had time to sit, take a damp towel and wipe away the vinegar/cornstarch paste. Any remaining gravy residue should come up as well.
