Ah, gravy. We all love it, but what if it spills and causes a nasty stain on our umbrellas? The first step to removing a gravy stain is to blot up any excess gravy that's still on the umbrella with a paper towel or cloth. Do not rub it or use anything abrasive, as this could spread the stain or damage the fabric of umbrella.
Once you've blotted up any excess gravy, it's time to pre-treat the stain. You can do this by applying a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and allowing it to sit for a few minutes. After a few minutes, take a clean cloth or sponge and blot the area until stain is gone.
Once you have pre-treated the stain, it's time to wash the area. To do this, fill a bucket with warm water and add a few drops of liquid laundry detergent. Put the stained area of umbrella into the soapy water and let it soak for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, take a clean cloth or sponge and gently scrub the area until the stain is gone.
Once the stain is gone, it's time to dry area. Before drying the area, make sure you have removed any excess detergent or water that might remain. To do this, use a clean cloth or paper towel to blot the area. Once dry, you can then let the umbrella air dry or use a hairdryer on a low setting to speed up the process.
The last step is to treat the area that was stained with gravy. This will help to prevent future stains and make sure the umbrella stays protected. To do this, apply a small amount of waterproof spray or wax to the area and allow it to dry. This will help to keep your umbrella looking good and free of further stains.
