Before you begin cleaning the stain, be sure to blot away any excess liquid with a dry, white cloth. Doing this as soon as possible will help prevent the stain from setting into the fabric. It's also important to make sure you're using a white cloth, or one that is a similar color to the Tussah, since colored fabrics may bleed dye onto fabric.
To help break down the molecules of the gravy and make it easier to clean, pre-treat the stain with a laundry detergent or a spot cleaner. Work the detergent into the stain and let it sit for 10-20 minutes before continuing on to the next step.
Once pre-treatment has had a chance to work, it's time to hand wash the stained area. Use a mild soap and warm water and gently scrub the fabric until the stain begins to fade. Be careful not to scrub too hard, as this could damage the fabric.
Once the stain is removed, rinse the fabric with cool water until all trace of the soap is gone. Then, press down on stained area with a towel to absorb any excess moisture. Finally, lay fabric flat to dry—avoiding direct sunlight—to ensure stain has been completely removed.
