What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Liquid detergent
  • Warm water
  • Soft cloth

Step 1: Blot Stain

Using a soft cloth or paper towels, blot up as much of the gravy as possible from the Tencel fabric. Try not to rub the stain, as this can spread stain further into the fabric fibers.

Step 2: Apply Detergent Solution

Mix a solution of 3 drops of liquid detergent and 2/3 cup of warm water. Thoroughly soak the stained area with solution and let it sit for 15 minutes. Once the solution has had time to work, use a soft cloth to gently scrub the stained area.

Step 3: Rinse with White Vinegar

Once detergent solution has been scrubbed off, rinse the stained area with white vinegar. The vinegar will help to break down any remaining grease or oil in the stain. Let the vinegar soak for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Step 4: Air Dry

Carefully lay the Tencel fabric out flat so that the stained area is facing upwards. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before wearing.
